After relocating to the other side of the continent and going through a career change, I had lost the motivation to express, minister and show the funny side through video. This particular video has brought that motivation back.
For those that know me.... I left secular stand up comedy and am on a mission to get christian stand up comedy thriving. One of my first acts is based on re-living most bible parables and verses into modern day times and speech. This powerful video shares the same concept.
So lets get commenting what do you think? Is this the new way to reach to Gen Z and beyond? Does this work? Is it impacting?
Elements, its SERIOUS fun.
A look at the funny world of advertising, It seriously hilarious.

KIDS. The best advertisers
So while reading a comment from the last blog I started thinking about innocence and how the industry is tapping into innocence and humor. Trigon an American HealthCare Insurance company used kids in a brand awareness campaign. Now these kids sound like they are in their late teens or early twenties yet the average age of the kids used is 6 years old. It got me thinking then that do these kids get lines to speak or are they asked questions and allowed to just let their imaginations run wild in front of the camera? Do you think it is good or exploiting to use kids in advertising. Which one of these ads is funnier and why? Overally do you think this campaign was successful?

Is it Racial, the Nudity, the implications.... What is it?
So I have been AWOL for a month, completing my Undergrad studies, now I am a grad. None the less here I am researching agencies and trying to find the ONE agency that is in alignment with my vision and I come across an advert that has sparked so much controversy in 2010 its actually shocking. Frankly some of the forums that have been started by people against this advert are shocking and have people pretty frustrated, but then again it made me aware that there are still people out there who pretend to be ok with the world's interracial relationships and mixing yet deep inside they are against it. It then made me wonder... what about this advert is wrong?
Made and created in New Zealand for primarily New Zealand and America. I'm not sure if they have launched it into any other country yet. Think in terms of product, the brand, target audience, is there anything wrong??? Then again think of who are the primary viewers, how much influence do they have towards your brand? Is there anything wrong with the advert???

Microsoft Office 2010, The Movie. This is serious fun!!!
So here I am looking for this week's craziest adverts and I come across this Trailer. All I can say is Microsoft have finally got with it. Before you do any research or visit the official movie site (lol) please comment below whether you think this is for real or if its spam advertising? Whichever way you choose to go, is it good advertising for the brand?

Drunk Babies
Ok so the lawmakers in Australia have deemed it necessary to say advertising is more influential to babies than violence programmes on television. This was strongly stamped by banning The Hyundai next generation advert which casted a baby driving by saying that it would influence toddlers to try to DRIVE... hmmmmmm.
Hyundai Next Generation
Months later the following series of print adverts showing drunk babies actually won the CANNES awards and were voted highly effective. Now tell me which is more influential than the other here.

1. BMW started it
2. AUDI answered
